Hawaiian Mac Salad

This recipe is part of a series done for a friend’s wedding. See also the Huli Huli Chicken and Teriyaki Sauce.

Ingredients: 5 cup yield

  • 1 box elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Best Foods Mayo
  • 1 ¼ Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp granulated(powdered) garlic
  • 1 Tb and ½-1tsp granulated black pepper

Boil the elbow macaroni until tender. Strain in a colander and rinse with cold water until cool to the touch. I have even left in the fridge over night before dressing it and it was fine. In a separate bowl combine sour cream, mayo, sugar, garlic, and black pepper (it has to be the granulated black pepper. Dress the macaroni and let sit in the fridge until serving, at least 1 hour! Enjoy!
